Tamilnadu - 9 nights/10 days tour
Day 01:
Arrive Chennai Airport / Railway station – Transfer to Hotel. Relax in the hotel and get ready for the tour the next day.
Day 02:

Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Chennai
City Tour of Chennai – Today you will be taken around the city of Chennai to visit places like St. Thomas Mount, (associated with St. Thomas, the apostle of Christ, who is believed to have been martyred there), Fort St. George (an Ancient British Fortress), Government Museum (also known as Madras Museum, which is also the second oldest museum in India), Kapaleeshwarar Temple (a temple of Lord Siva located in Mylapore), etc. In the evening, you will be driven down to Mahabalipuram and checked into the hotel there.
Day 03:City Tour of Mahabalipuram - On day 3, your tour continues in the Ancient city of Mahabalipuram. The main places of visit include the Pancha Rathas (five monolithic shrines named after the Pandavas {Arjuna, Bhima, Yudhishthira, Nakula and Sahadeva} and Draupadi), the Krishna Temple (an Ancient and huge temple with utterly beautiful sculptures) Shore Temple (a five storied structural temple built with marble, overlooking the Bay of Bengal), etc.

Day 04:

Kailasanathar Temple, Kanchipuram
Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram. On this day, you will be taken to the City of Kanchipuram. Places of visit include, the Varadaraja Perumal temple (a temple originally built by the Cholas in 1053 AD), Ekambareshwar Temple (a temple dedicated to Lord Siva, having one of the tallest Gopuras in the country), Kailasanathar Temple (also dedicated to Lord Siva), among other places. You will be taken back to Mahabalipuram in the evening.
Day 05:Pondicherry – On day 5, you will first be driven down to Pondicherry, a French colony, where you will spend the night. In the afternoon, you will be taken to places like Auroville (an experimental township, founded by the Sri Aurobindo Society), Puducherry Museum (which has a collection of rare bronzes and stone sculptures from the Pallava and Chola dynasties), Botanical Garden (laid out in 1826 in the ornate French style, with pruned trees, flower beds and gravel lined paths and fountains) – Aravindo Ashramam (founded by Sri Aurobindo on the 24 November 1926), etc.

Day 06:

On this day, you will be taken from Pondicherry to Chidambaram (a fast growing industrial city). - Gangaikonda Cholapuram - Darasuram - Tanjore.
